STEP 1 – APPLY
Complete and return the application for admission with all requested information to Cardinal Ritter Junior/Senior High School before January 31, 2024. Applications received before this deadline will be placed in a preferred admissions category, and for those applying for financial aid, placed in the first pool for financial aid distribution. Please contact the Guidance Office at 317.924.4333 if you would like a paper application.

STEP 2 – TAKE THE PLACEMENT TEST
All students entering 7th & 9th grade must take a placement test before receiving admission to Cardinal Ritter High School. Students applying for admission to our 8th grade must follow the admission process, but the placement test is optional. Eligibility for scholarships given by our Parent Club is based only on results from the placement test given by Cardinal Ritter.

STEP 3 – ACCEPTANCE
Once you have completed the application process and provided the school with all needed data for acceptance and placement, your application will be reviewed, and you will receive a decision letter in early February. An acceptance package will include a letter from the president along with materials and information regarding Pre-Registration/Curriculum Night on February 21, 2024. It is important to attend this meeting in order to set a registration appointment with our guidance department, receive details about course offerings and curriculum, and obtain a financial aid application.
